Building in public, leveraging exposure and influencing change = JJR ACTIVE

Ayo warrido it’s yourboiBruce! Hope you had a good week till now and the weekend is the most exciting thing you’re looking forward to. It’s trippy at times whenever I contextualise my week using Thursdays as the check mark.

So. Much. Happens!

Everyday at JJR studio something new happens, and I like how we alternate between progress and results. The breakeven point is always found between the strength of conversation and bias to action.

Appreciations to the JJR team and frens; Africuz.png, Spice Tyson, Cheng, Rudd, Moses Shé, Mad Lad Max, Wez, Sneaky Pete CJ, Billius the Majestic,The Curator_zw and Donne Jovi naturally! I don’t get much done without these guys!

trapping productively

The irony is not lost on me that after the Dalitso interview, I’ve been working on an event. Tomorrow if you still don’t know, Joina Jamz Radio is hosting our first pop up concert inside Joina City called Joina Jamz RadioActive.

We got a stacked setlist of performers with some of my favourites on it like AneUnhu, Dough Major, Ckanyiso Dat Guy and many more! It’s been an interesting 2 weeks I’ve had to pull this thing together with support from the JJR team and the corporate sponsors who believe in the vision.

Shouts out to MusikBay, Adscryns and AfroDroid Media for assisting us in the capacities they could afford. The intention is to do more of this, curating community experiences in spaces that hardly get considered as cultural zones. Donne Jovi making new records just to amp up his wow factor for  the crowd and still handling business on the side is peak trapping productively.

Hopefully you come through and appreciate the good works we put into bridging gaps with dreams for ourselves and for the creative community. See you tomorrow.
