Ayo juicy folk warrido, hope this episode of da weekly juice finds you well and in a productive mood. My continual tinkering and experimentation with the newsletter are what brings us here, as episode 1 of 2023 delivers itself across social media in multimedia content format, hosted by Substack.
The hope is that my vision for this newsletter is fulfilled by episode 52. Hopefully, by then I’m shipping da weekly juice as well as Mark Goldbridge does for the United Stand but with improved dynamism, interactivity, curation, and social impact.
The changes that come with publishing via Substack are quite immense and will prove to be a substantial upgrade on Revue as a service provider. Most important for both of us is the feature that allows me to embed audio files, which means interviews with highly productive guests become a key measure of how this newsletter becomes greater in the future.
trapping productively
Salutations, good vibes, and congratulations on finding yourself amongst others in the new year of 2023! I'm sure just like a billion others in the world, you find your mind doing the Jedi mind tricks on you.
That insistent nagging of your consciousness daring you to change for the better. The soul-deep yearning for more abundance to happen already.
Your mind is seemingly bothered by the potential more work you'll have to do, on top of what you do already to achieve the bare minimum of what you have called success in the past. Evolution is calling, and it's not enticing.
January is a great time to focus on developing healthy mental models that will form the basis of the strong mind you'll need to bulldoze through the obstacles that will be unveiled this year.
Things admittedly don't seem to be getting easier - for our young adult generation the costs of living increase, the opportunities to leave for honeyed first-world career death traps increase, and the online noise about your mental health keeps getting noisier.
I find myself lowkey actualizing plans, ideas, and solutions for my self-devised problems and the world’s challenges. Attention residue is my anti-goal this year, developing the absolute focus needed to maintain the flow state and embody the 5th discipline Senge.

Joina Jamz Radio presents…
I met HURRIKANE last year in early December if memory serves, and he carries the energy of a hurricane indeed. The melodies are endless within him, the rap star aesthetic is detailed devilishly and the vision he carries within him is worth the mission he’s on! It’s refreshing to see kids with an innate understanding of their voice tackle problems with creativity. Watching him write, practice, and record his raps for the JJR album that’s soon come has been a joy. He has the right motivations in place for him to become the breakout star of his generation and his performance at the Joina City Connect Expo was a good indicator of a growing fanbase. Plus he slaughtered the runway at the Fabrik Party! Sub the boi and watch him become GOAT.

Cooking up content, ideas, and business is a time-consuming and fruitful endeavor. So the above is an interview I had with RnB artist TheLastLetter based in South Africa last year in which we discussed the woes of creatives when it comes to productivity challenges imposed by infrastructural challenges and many more topics.

and that’s all folks
